All Equinix Metal data centers now feature on-demand capacity, with m3.small and n3.xlarge at the core of the inventory. Since NY metro is considered high demand, additional configs will also be available on-demand. Enjoy!

In Q1 and Q2 2022 we'll be adding o-demand capacity to all former expansion metros, including New York. Going forward, we'll deprecate the terms "expansion" and "core" and align capacity with demand.

NYC is a major peering metro. Core locations should correspond to that
